Cuban food was mostly healthy and whole foods based. Back in Canada, however, real food seems harder to come by. Please indulge me as I rant.
DID YOU KNOW…that many brands of table salt list “sugar” as the second ingredient? Was this some kind of ploy to find new uses for the highly subsidized sugar industry? Or is there some reason for seemingly absurd move?
You know what I think we need more of? Culture! Microbial culture that is (although I support the other kind too). I’ve been busy with my three new fermented house pets: sourdough starter, kombucha, & dirty socks porridge! Read on to feed your curiosity…
